Artworks by Isabelle Tellié and Nicolas ‘NIKI’ Kramar
Questioning our sense of reality - cognition, presence, distance, focus, movement… The perceptive operations that we establish in relation to the sculptural paintings presented in this exhibition are usually welcomed as a playful physical and aesthetical exercise. Our journey could end here, or we could go a few steps further, to penetrate the layers of these artworks and let ourselves be provoked by their hidden messages, theories and inquiries. Moving across the realms of physics and philosophy, and far from any conceptualism, Isabelle Tellié and NIKI invite us to stroll around the subtle concrete and theoretical depths of their multidimensional compositions.
The exhibition takes place in occasion of a team-up event hosted by Rooms of Kairos and by Isabelle’s Tiny House at Gasweksiedlung Berlin - more details on the fb event Tiny House Sessions Vol.3
Down in the garden and up the studio, the music program is curated by Rooms of Kairos and involves close musician friends of the project.
