What happens when an event is affected by the active participation of all actors involved?
A-Live º INTERACTION offers itself as an opportunity to contemplate the shared reality and present moment of the cultural happening.
Guests, artists, and even the personnel are invited to share their impressions through simple sentences and playful guided writing exercises, with one rule only: texts have to somewhat portray the event, via subjective or objective descriptions.
Such materials become prompts for the generation of AI video through the models developed by Pollinations.ai. Videos become inspirational matter for the music improvisations by Center for Mind and Brain. The music, in turn, becomes a new element of influence for new words and images.
The experiment is built to create a series of reflections and games of mirrors amongst the guests, the videos generated, the location, the music played, the whole environment… Letting the essence of the gathering rise and reveal itself.

Born in September 2021, Pollinations.ai is an open-source platform for democratizing the creation of synthetic media using deep learning. Pollinations.ai was co-founded by Thomas Haferlach, who has been working with AI professionally and artistically for many years.
Thomas and many other members of the collective applied its generative models in various artistic contexts, such as Silent Green, Monom, Richard Thomas Foundation, Monopol, etc., in collaboration with musicians and multidisciplinary artists.

A-Live º INTERACTION is the third event of the A-Live series, which took off in the summer of 2022 with the performance of Vincent Moon and Daniela Huerta, supported by the opening DJ act of e/tape (A-Live º RITUAL)
The second episode - A-Live º NARRATION - took place in August 2023 and, introduced by the fine selection of Oscar der Winzige, it showcased the collaboration between digital live painter Cosimo Miorelli and musician and producer Marchissio.
A-Live is curated by Rooms of Kairos, with the support of gART.n, Gaswerksiedlung Berlin, and Nomadenkino.
In 2023, the events are funded by Musicboard Berlin GmbH.
